Dear Readers & Followers,
November is known as the month for being grateful, and, not to be cheesy, but this year I am grateful for all of you: our number one fans. This year alone we have been able to take Reinvented Magazine from an idea to a reality all because of your support.
Reinvented Magazine has been in the works for well over a year now, but this September we released our very first issue, officially becoming the nation's first print magazine written for women in STEM, by women in STEM. Our team has had the opportunity to travel all over the country presenting our idea at conferences, where we have met so many inspiring women that remind us why we are fighting to normalize the idea of women being in STEM fields. We have interview some awesome ladies too, from Megan Smith (former CTO of the United States), to Merritt More (the quantum ballerina), and Limor Fried (LadyAda, Founder of Adafruit), and have been honored to be the magazine that shares their story. Last, but not least, we were able to donate over 1000 magazines to girls in low income and underserved areas, and we are on track to donate even more copies of our next issue.
To celebrate National Gratitude Month and Giving Tuesday on December 3rd, we are launching our Fall Fundraiser, with a goal of raising $5,000. We are asking all of you to help support Reinvented Magazine as push forward into 2020 with an even bigger vision of where we want to go. The highlight of our campaign is our Fall Fundraiser Bingo Card (more details here). You can download yours today, then share it on social media to gain the support of your friends and family. Once you have a BINGO or have completed your card, let us know by sharing on social media and tagging us in the post. Be sure to use the hashtags #ReinventedFallFundraiser and #MySTEMStory.
