As most of our readers probably know by now, November is National Gratitude Month, followed by Giving Tuesday on December 3rd. Reinvented Magazine has been so grateful for all of the support we have received over the last couple of months with the launch of Issue One, and we are looking forward to inpsiring more young women in STEM! We have decided to celebrate this month by hosting a Fall Fundraiser, which will help us gain funds to continue sharing our love for STEM witht he next generation of women! From November 19th to December 5th, Reinvented is focused on reaching our fundraising goal of $5,000 - but we can't do it without the support of our loyal readers! During these next two weeks, join us in raising money for Reinvented Magazine, and you may have the chance to earn special prizes!
How to Participate
1. STEM Story
Over the two weeks of our Fall Fundraiser, we want to hear about our readers' passion for STEM! Share your STEM story with us through the social media platform of your choice, whether it's Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn. Your post is up to you - you can post a picture of a cool STEM project you’ve been working on, presenting about the importance of women in STEM at your local school, or even dressed up as your favorite woman in STEM. Caption your post with your story and include #ReinventedFallFundraiser, #MySTEMStory, and tag Reinvented Magazine! Also, nominate 3 friends to join in the fundraiser and complete this challenge with you!
2. Bingo
Here is a chance to participate in a classic game with a fundraising twist - Reinvented’s Fall Fundraiser Bingo! Simply download the Bingo card templates below and share it on social media to let your friends know you are raising money for Reinvented Magazine! Collect money from your friends using the method of your choice (ie. Paypal or Venmo) and complete the tasks to fill up your Bingo card. Once you have completed a row, column, or diagonal, post a picture of your Bingo Card the social media platform of your choice, tag Reinvented Magazine, and include #ReinventedFallFundraiser and #MySTEMStory. Then send us the funds you collected either by check or PayPal (information below).
*Note: All donations must be made under the name of the owner of the bingo card for donations to be counted towards a bingo card. We suggest you have your friends and family send you their donations directly, then you send us the donation all together.
3. Giving Tuesday
Our Fall Fundraiser will come to a close on December 3rd, which is Giving Tuesday, a day that encourages people to do good and transform their communities. On this day, Reinvented will be hosting a flash fundraiser challenge. The Top 5 people who donate the most funds on this day will win a free 2020 magazine subscription, which starts with Issue Two!
Fall Fundraiser Prizes
All of your hard work and dedication to this fundraiser will not go unrewarded! Once you have completed a row, column, or diagonal on your BINGO card, your name will be entered into a drawing for one of these three prizes:
(1) Grand Prize Winner: Reinvented swag bag including Grace Hopper tote bag, Women in STEM postcards, stickers + free 2020 subscription service
(5) 2nd Place Winners: A copy of Issue 2 of Reinvented Magazine signed by our Founder and Editor in Chief, Caeley Looney, plus a sticker
(10) 3rd Place Winners: Women in STEM postcard set and sticker
