Let’s talk about inflation and the increasing cost of everyday products. Unfortunately, no one is immune to this, including Reinvented, and we’ve been seeing this rise in cost continue to go up as we entered 2023. Over the past year, the cost of paper has increased so significantly, that the cost of printing our magazine has tripled since our organization’s inception.
As a result of these rising costs, Reinvented has made the incredibly difficult decision to move to a twice-annual magazine schedule. In an effort to keep our print schedule aligned with the school year, for the foreseeable future, new issues will be released in the spring and fall, starting with our next magazine, Issue No. 16.
Everyone who currently has an active subscription will continue to receive the remainder of the four issues they purchased, just over a longer period of time. All new subscriptions and renewals will be reduced to match our new twice-a-year model.
We apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause, but we appreciate the value of the print experience and promise to continue producing a magazine designed to empower the next generation of girls and nonbinary peoples in STEM.
