About the event
This year Reinvented Magazine is celebrating International Women's Day with a huge celebration! We are going to assemble and display 10,000 female LEGO ® minifigures portrayed in empowering roles such as scientists, astronauts, engineers, and more. We need YOUR help putting together all of these minifigures and getting them on display!
Schedule of General Attendee Events:
- 9:00 AM: Doors Open to Public
- 9:30 AM: Minifigure Build & STEM Expo Kick Off
- 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM: Minifigure Build & STEM Expo
- 2:00 PM: Minifigure Build Station Closes
- 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: STEM Expo Only
- 3:00 PM: Raffle Winners Announced
In addition to our Build-a-Thon we are looking for teams of no more than five (5) students each to compete in our LEGO ® Minifigure Build-a-Thon Display Competition. Each team will be tasked with creating their own empowering and unique display to hold our minifigures. If you are interested in signing up a team, please select the team option during registration.
Schedule of Competition Events:
- 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Team Check-in
- 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Team Set Up & Event Preparation
- 9:30 AM: Event Kick Off
- 9:45 AM - 12:00 PM: Display Build Time
- 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Lunch Break
- 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Display Build Time
- 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Judging
- 3:30 PM: Awards Ceremony & Closing Ceremonies

This serves as your team's registration to our LEGO Build-a-Thon Team Competition. Before reserving your team's spot in the competition, please review the Team Competition rules located on the event website. Only twenty (20) teams total will be allowed to register for this event, so be sure to register early. Team registration allows for up to 5 team members and 1 team supervisor to be granted General Admission to the Build-a-Thon and STEM Expo events.
